WALKING, I AM LISTENING
TO A DEEPER WAY.

ANCESTORS ARE BEHIND ME.
BE STILL, THEY SAY.
WATCH AND LISTEN.
YOUR ARE THE RESULT OF
THE LOVE OF THOUSANDS.

Throughout this site, you will find references to William Robertson, Pioneer and also to Stevenson McGilchrist whose book started me on this journey of discovering my family's roots. I was recently provided with some poetry written by Stevenson's wife Jean, and will shortly publish a webpage of her writings, but I want to share with you a snippet from the poem, "The Venerable Steven". Stevenson's daughter Erica has also provided her recollections of his obsession with tracing the family tree, but his wife treated this obsession far more beautifully.

collecting the cider
